This is tender work. At vulnerable times. So it’s important that we are a good match. I offer a free consultation of up to an hour – this is a chance to get to know each other a bit, discuss your values and beliefs about death, talk about what you think you are looking for and determine if we are a good fit to work together. In person is best, but we can also do this by Zoom or phone.
I ask that you review this website before e-mailing me and requesting a consultation – it saves both of us a bunch of time.
If you want to take the next step, we will sign a contract setting out the expected areas of service and the payment option(s). I have some standard language, but each situation is unique and we can tailor it to what you want. In my experience, what people actually end up wanting and needing can change over time, so I also try to build some flexibility into the contract.
I am also open to connecting with others working in the ‘death-positive’ space. Always expanding my networks and learning, as together we help build and rebuild community capacity to care for our dying and our grieving ones - and ourselves in the process. Blessed be!
